Obese kids and adolescents are at increased risk of changing into obese adults. the likelihood of persistence of obesity into adulthood is particularly high, as soon as the affected kid is older than 4 years of age, extremely obese or has a minimum of one overweight parent. because we are part of a 7-year-old obese kid with an obese parent, the chance of changing into an obese adult is 70%.
